Micromax X360 with Yamaha and Wolfson amplifiers at Rs 3600

Micromax has launched X360 – a dual SIM, sleek GSM Mobile Phone, which is sure to enthrall all music lovers. The handset comes embedded with unique MTV content featuring videos, ringtones and wallpapers from a number of shows aka MTV Cool Maal. The X360 is a capable multimedia phone, which supports a wide range of music formats. The built in Yamaha and Wolfson amplifiers along with multiple built in equalizer presets truly makes the music come to life.
The newest offering from Micromax is a lightweight(104 gms) handset featuring stereo FM radio, 1.3 mega pixel camera and Bluetooth. X360 has an internal memory of 121 MB which may be extended up to 8 GB. The user interface (UI) is smooth and lag free. The only problem with this UI is that it has issues with reading media from memory cards and the folders have to be added manually. Some other key features are:

• QVGA display with 262K color
• 5-way navigation key
• Li-ion(800mAh) battery, talk time up to 5 hours and standby time up to 220 hours
• GPRS/WAP connectivity
• Dimension:- 108.7 x 46.5 x 12.5 mm

My Verdict

X360’s price tag of Rs 3600 is perhaps a few hundred bucks more than we would have liked. However, the superior music playback capabilities should be appealing to budget conscious music lovers who are looking for a new handset. What do you think about this new handset from Micromax?
