New MacBook Pro Models Get an early Software Update

Yesterday, Apple unleashed the much awaited updated edition of MacBook Pro with the powerful and must have i5 and i7 processors. Today it has rolled out an update for the one day old devices. This update is intended to fix issues related to graphics, videos and others belonging to the minor category.

Personally I am a bit confused as to how to take this update. One way is to compliment the Cupertino's prompt customer service quality. The other perspective which might not go down well with many is to wonder how much testing was actually conducted by Apple before launching this device for the general public.

It seems there were no major show stoppers which led to this prompt update, so no worries there. Here is the official wording about the update officially referred to as MacBook Pro Software Update 1.3

This update is recommended for all 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro mid 2010 models and contains improvements for graphics stability for high-performance video and gaming applications as well as various bug fixes.

Have you experienced any shortcomings or below par performance issues from the impressive MacBook Pro series.
