Apple iPhone 4 to launch soon in India by Airtel

Apple iPhone has conquered the world with its highly advanced technology, charming looks and superb performance. In India, its popularity is on a high too and in a bid to tap this oppurtunity, Bharti Airtel has collaborated with Apple to launch iPhone 4 in india as soon as September-October time frame. Airtel is the largest telecom operator and the handset maker in India.



BWA shall finalize this deal soon and this seems very probable as it has won 13 circles in the auction of airwaves for third generation (3G) network. The company has spent Rs.12,295.46 crore ($2.73 billion) to set up its network to enable a quicker rollout of such services. Airtel claims that 3G network is almost ready and the rest will be soon covered as they are working towards it aggressively. Airtel has also bagged Broadband Wireless Access services in four circles in India.

Consequently, the high end iPhone 4 would soon hit the Indian mobile market.
